Okta Community Guidelines
Okta Classic Engine

Welcome to the Okta Community!

We’ve created this Community as a basecamp for all things Okta, as well as a peer-to-peer space for people to connect, share, and learn about the Okta platform.

A lot of care goes into making this Community valuable, and we need your help to keep it positive and thriving. We encourage active and open dialogue. However, as with anything else in life, there are some rules and guidelines we all have to follow.

If you’ve been here for a while, these rules of the road should seem familiar to you. If you’ve recently joined, welcome! And no worries, you’ll catch on real quick.

  • Assume and show positive intent. This is a diverse Community made up of people from all types of expertise, backgrounds, etc. so be kind and respectful, always.
  • Search first and stay on topic. Before you post asking for help or best practices, search first. It’s highly likely that your topic has been covered before. If you see a recent thread (last couple of weeks or so) covering your topic, comment within that thread rather than creating a new one.
  • No spamming, please. Don’t pitch your products or services. Your post may be removed by our community management team if it is or seems like spam.

Thanks for your support. Now go forth and get your Community on!

These Community Guidelines form part of our Terms of Use, and together, they are the rules that apply to your participation in the Community. Okta, in its discretion, reserves the right to remove users, or edit or remove posts from the forum where appropriate. Okta owns this site’s content and by participating in this Community and by adding public content, you give Okta permission to use all content you create or post in this forum for communications, customer success, marketing, and other such purposes Okta deems appropriate to run its business.
